Feels like it’s been weeks since I last updated this and it probably has. But that is all about to change. Tomorrow I leave New Zealand and embark on a new and exciting adventure traveling around Europe and the Mediterranean for an unknown period of time.

Similar to my time in Europe last year, I will use this blog to keep all of my friends, family and followers up to date with my movements. So this is probably the last car related post for the foreseeable future. I have purchased a Fujifilm X100 to travel with as I didn’t want to travel with my big DSLR so I plan to update this with photos and text as much as internet coverage provides.

In the meantime here are a few photos I shot on my old FG-20 at D1NZ Round 4. I have also just collected a roll of film I shot in Sydney a couple of weeks ago so I’ll do something with those shots soon.

I recently had the opportunity to photograph the new V8 Supertourers at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park. This was the first round of their new series and they now head down to Ruapuna Raceway in Christchurch. It was also the first proper outing for my new 300mm f/2.8. The lens isn’t in great condition and needs a bit of work (currently has no AF) but I am really impressed with the results so far. I can’t wait to have it repaired and be working at 100%.
