Meet Matt and his Kouki S14. I featured his twin brother’s Laurel a few weeks ago and have since had the pleasure to photograph the other half of the Sellers stable. I’ll try to keep the writing brief and let the pictures do the talking.
Up front are a pair of timeless TE37’s….
…while bolted to the rear are a never-ending supply of .Com Racing wheels.
Matt competes in the D1 Rookie series that follows D1NZ all around the country. I really like a lot of the Rookie cars, probably because they usually have no stickers or graphics.
The inside is kept simple and functional.
And a series of Auto Gauge’s replace the stock cluster.
The colour of this car is so difficult to photograph, it looks totally different with even the slightest change in sunlight.
With both Matt’s brother and father working at a steel mill, he had them fab up some really cool bits.
The SR20DE+T pumps out a responsive 228kw @ 12 psi.
The car has been fitted with Lexan windows all ‘round, so they went about making some air vents to keep the cabin temps down, which end up blowing nice cool air onto both the driver and passenger.
An outside view of the nifty pipework.
Thanks for your time Matt, see you at Mt Smart!
